Day 1: Bishkek – Ala Archa – Bishkek
Welcoming Kyrgyzstan waits for the people from all over the world to come here and enjoy natural and so pure landscapes. Right on coming to the territory of the country on planes, you arrive at Manas International Airport. From here in 30 minutes you get to the city, for the wandering outing along Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic. At the same time today we give a splendid opportunity to get in touch with amazing natural park, more famous as Ala Archa gorge. In the past times ordinary people were not able to visit it, as only people of great honors had such an opportunity. Today, covering 45km from the capital everyone is able to visit this location and get to the heights of the park based at the Tien Shan mountain range. Night is given in the hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek – Burana – Issyk Kul northern shore
Renting a car in the country means the chance to travel along the Issyk Kul Lake. With this guests are going to take a trip along the heights, as the lake is based in the heart of the mountain ranges. This is also identified as the largest lake, based at the heights of 1608m. All along this lake is identified as the pearl of the country and Central Asia as well. Having the lake close to the locals, for about 1500 years they considered it being sacred lake. The peculiarity of the water pond is seen in it being salty, probably this is the explanation of curative qualities. For arriving at the lake, we pass Burana Tower, the minaret of the 11th century, being based with the Balbals (stone warriors) at its territory as well. Night is given in the hotel.
Day 3: Issyk Kul Lake – Bishkek
Still in the region of Issyk Kul guests wander about the territory for seeing various pictures made on the stones. All of them are seen as ancient makings, by the people living here about 2 000 years ago, as here we can find petroglyphs made by shamans! At the same time these stones were not moved, and you are able to see purely and totally an ancient creation. As we are in Issyk Kul, this is a chance to wander about its territory for pretending being in the center of the world. But then we return back to Bishkek, and visit the local Asian Bazaar. Here local life can be noticed, along with the opportunity to make great photos of the local life. All along national fabrics, clothes and souvenirs can be bought here.
Day 4: Bishkek – Toktogul
Driving to Toktogul today we are passing the south of the country on rented cars. This tour is aimed at showing of natural views of the mountains, as their impressiveness opens us wonderful gorges. Having visited the Tue Ashuu pass, boarders take photos with the background at the height of 3000m. Night is going to be suggested in the boarding house.
Day 5: Toktogul – Sary Chelek
Leaving Toktogul the team of boarders starts the route to the Sary Chelek lake. This is the lake located at the Chatkal mountain range of a National reserve. The lake is identified being 234m deep, 2,280m wide and 7,500m lo, at the heights of 1873m. There are various legends concerning the creation of it, which are going to be given to the guests in the course of their traveling here, but we would like to inform of it being created in the result of an earthquake. This is one of versions, but it is clearly a flooded valley, the colored stones and rich flora-fauna life at the bottom of it. Life of the bottom is presented with 300 species of plants, 32 species of trees, 80 types of bushes, 38 species of animals and 157 species of birds. Just try to plunge in the beauty of the mountain peaks and the inspired lake. Night is planned in the stay of the locals.
Day 6: Sary Chelek
The whole day is devoted to the investigation of Sary-Chelek State Reserve. This is the state reserve created in 1959. There was an idea to take the area of 23 thousand 868 hectares, for saving unique flora and fauna. That is why charm of animals and plants is still living here. This is one of the most visited locations among the wanderers. By the way, the name of the lake means from Kyrgyz as “yellow bowl”. It can be described by the shape of the bowl and yellow leaved reflecting in the water. In the past times it was possible to swim in the lake, or have a boat trip, but now all this is prohibited, for saving ecology.
Day 7: Sary Chelek – Arslanbob
We recommend starting the day today earlier, as this is going to be driving to Arslanbob walnut forest. The way to the forest is made along the mountains; that is why drivers make many stops for incredible photos to be made. Along the route, guests of the country can try Kumis, as int eh mountain local people sell this national drink from milk. Finally as getting to Arslanbob in the evening, all we have today is to find out of it gathering about 1500 tons of walnuts each year, as it is the largest walnut forest in the whole world, have a walk along it and then have rest in the stay of the locals.
Day 8: Arslanbob
Having had rest we start the day with the total investigation of the forest. The walking trip along Arslanbob can be made, but it is almost impossible to cover all 11,000 hectares in one day. Such an area gives the name of the “Royal Woods of Kyrgyzstan”. There are different stories telling of the history of the forest, as it used to be one of main points for traders of the Great Silk Road in the Middle Ages. While walking here be sure to visit the small waterfall, talk to the natives, for then having night in the stay of them.
Day 9: Arslanbob – Uzgen – Osh
Taking a route to the south of the country, we make a stop at Djalal Abad town, known for Uzgen Tower. The tower can be also identified as the minaret of the 11th century, created by Karakhanids. They managed to create the building with the chambers for all the heroes of the country as well as the leaders. Then as arriving to Osh, we would like to welcome guests to take a route to the center of the city, as the well-recognized Suleiman Mountain is placed here. It is known as Suleiman Too (Solomon’s Mountain) as well, being the main praying location for the local people, saying the legend of the hill. It says the biblical prophet Solomon (Suleiman, in the Koran) used to come here, and being buried at the foot of it. Hotel is offered for the night today.
Day 10: Airport
In the morning is allocation to airport.
