Day 1: Tashkent
This day you will discover the wonderful capital city Tashkent. This day you will have a wonderful guided tour where you will explore the most significant sites. The first attraction you will explore will be the Independence square. You will discover that it is the main square of the country. After that you will continue the tour with visiting the walking street called local Broadway. You will observe that location of the street is between the Independence square and Amir Timur Square. This day you will also have a chance to explore Tashkent metro, which is among the most beautiful subways in the world. You will discover the first line was built in 1977. Then you will direct to the old part of the city, where you will see Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex. This attraction includes several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. His day you will also discover the Othman Quran – the oldest Quran copy in the world. This night will be in thw hotel.
Day 2: Tashkent – Samarkand
In the morning you will start the tour with morning train to the second largest city of Uzbekistan – Samarkand. Samarkand is one of the oldest cities in Central Asia, comfortably located in the flowery valley of the Zeravshan River. It is one of the three largest and most populous cities in Uzbekistan. The history of the city dates back about 2,500 years and it is the same age as Babylon and Rome. During the tour you will explore the wonderful sites as Registan square, Shakhi-Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. In the tour you will be able to explore that Registan Square is a complex that has 3 magnificent mausoleums that were built in the period from the 15th to the 17th century. Then you can enjoy the beautiful Shahi-Zinde complex and see that it consists of several mausoleums that date back to the 11th-15th centuries. Next you will explore that it is also part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the Bibi Khanum Mosque and discover that it was built in memory of Tamerlane's beloved wife. This night will be in the hotel.
Day 3: Samarkand
After breakfast you will have a chance to discover the fabulous attractions of Samarkand. This day you will discover the first attraction called as Ulughbek observatory. During the tour you will explore that it was erected in the 15th century by Samarkand ruler and scientist Ulughbek. He was the powerful scientist who could write “Zidji Guragoni” catalog in 1437, which contained information about 1018 celestial bodies. After that you will continue the tour with exploring the local Broadway. During the tour you will experience souvenir shops, teahouses, sweets and workshops. Then tour route will take you to stroll around the National bazaar Siab, oriental bazaar. You will also have a chance to discover Uzbek traditional handmade products and local sweets. Then you discover a unique handmade carpet factory where over 400 women create carpets without using traditional techniques. After you will direct to observe Samarkand paper workshop where they produce silk papers. You will rest the night in the hotel.
Day 4: Samarkand – Tashkent
This day you will transfer back to Tashkent by a morning train. After arrival you will meet the guide. You will departure to Courage Monument. During the tour you will explore that it was erected in memory of the elimination of the consequences of the Tashkent earthquake. Then you will discover Zangi Ota memorial complex. Historical and architectural monuments of the XIV century – the complex of mausoleums of Zangi-ata. This is the resting place of Sheikh Ai-Khoja, nicknamed Zangi-ata ("black") - the fifth murid of the great Sufi, the founder of the order "Khojagan" Khoja Ahmad Yassavi and the spiritual disciple of the famous mystic poet Suleiman Khaki-ata Bakirgani. This day you will complete with visiting the State Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan. It stores examples of glasses and national clothing, hand and machine embroidery, skullcaps and national fabrics, carpets and woodcarving. You will res the night in the hotel.
Day 5: Tashkent – Flight
