Day 1: Dushanbe
Upon arrival to the airport you will meet driver. After that he will accompany you to the capital of Tajikistan where you will have a charming city tour. After that you will direct to the National park where you will take pictures of Ministry of Inner Affairs. Day 2: Dushanbe – Khoburubot – Kalai Khum
Today you will drive to Kalai Khum village via mesmerizing mountain road. You will travel along the spectacular high Khoburubot Pass (3 252). Today you will explore that this pass also names as Western Pamir Tract. Today you will explore that road will pass through amazing landscapes, where you can enjoy pristine nature, discover beautiful rivers and gorges, and take many photo stops. Day 3: Kalai Khum – Khorog
In the morning you will travel to Khorog. Khorog is a small city, and probably the smallest one shown on the world map. The city of Khorog is the capital of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan. This small green town seems to be perched on steep rock terraces that gently descend to the very bottom of a deep canyon, where two rapid mountain rivers Gunt and Panj meet. It seems like a tree growing on a steep cliff-small, but looking down on the world. This city is like the roof of the world, from where the trip to the Pamirs begins. During the tour you will communicate with Pamir people. Along the way you will discover that The Pamir people themselves differ from the Tajiks in their anthropological features, they have blue eyes, light skin, and also light hair. On the tour, you will be able to explore the beautiful Pamir Mountains and find out that in the world they are the most densely populated after Tibet and the Himalayas. During the tour, you will notice that the life of the Pamirs is different from the Tajiks, especially the traditions and customs and also the language. This night will be in the guesthouse.
Day 4: Khorog – Yashil Kul Lake – Bulunkul Lake
After breakfast you will observe the most beautiful lakes of Pamirs - Yashil Kul and Bulunkul (Blue lakes). Lake Bulunkul is much smaller than Yashilkul and is connected to it by a narrow channel. The water in Bulunkul is fresh, there are many aquatic plants, you can often see ducks, geese swimming on the surface of the lake, and gulls scurrying over it. It is noteworthy that fishing was organized on this lake for the first time in the Pamirs. Yashilkul means "green lake". It is located in the Pamirs at an altitude of 3,700 meters above sea level. The lake was formed as a result of a blockage that blocked the Alichur River. The water flows over the blockage, and it is from this place that the Gunt River originates. This day you will have a chance to discover domestic animals yaks, they share the characteristics of cows and sheep. Yaks are useful for humans: wool, meat, and milk. In course of the tour you will travel via fascinating Koitezak pass (4 271 m).You will rest the night in the homestay.
Day 5: Bulunkul – Khorog
In the morning you will departure to Khorog along Pamir Highway, known as M41 Pamir Tract. You will discover that it is the high-altitude road is considered the second after Tibet. This day you will discover that the height is about 4000 meters above sea level over mountains and passes. Tajikistan has the pure nature and gave this mountainous and inaccessible territory that is rich in various flora and fauna which is home to such animal species as Turkestan rat, tiger-cat, grizzly bear, badger, stoat, fox, grey and red wolves. Such a high-altitude territory presented a rich animal world. During the tour you will explore that it is also home to Marco Polo sheep, which differs from the usual sheep size and in the highlands listed in the red book snow leopard. This night you will rest in the guesthouse.
Day 6: Khorog – Kalai Khum
Today you will travel back from Khorog to Kalai Khum. This day you will departure the same way. This day you will transfer over Shuraba pass (2 267 m). During the tour you will be amazed by the spectacular views of of unique mountains – it is Territory of Pamir Mountains. For many centuries, many researchers and scientists have wanted to explore and enjoy the mountains such as – Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. This day you will transfer along the natural border – Pyanj River. Today Pamir attracts more and more tourists every year and you have the great chance to admire the fabulous views of such unique mountains. Visitors who have already visited the Pamirs call it the ocean system of blue and white mountains. Today you will also discover the amazing Norak water reservoir that is called Tajik Sea. Today you will rest the night in the hotel.
